Purity once had a name,
And beauty once had a face.
Life once had a meaning,
And once I was safe.
Once there was freedom,
And once I could laugh.
Happiness once was alive,
And once I had another half.
Once I shared his love,
Once I was by his side,
Once I felt I fitted,
So quickly that died.
His grace so great,
His beauty so vast,
All I ever wanted,
Was for it to last.
Fate maybe had another plan,
Or maybe he had another love,
But it all fell apart,
The hand too big for the glove.
Now it's all died away,
Happiness, joy, love; all memories.
Now I walk alone in this dark, dark world,
With no light to guide my way.

If missing you could blacken stars,
There'd be no midnight show.
If missing you could make it rain,
The seas would overflow.
If missing you could make it hot,
There'd be deserts all around.
If missing you could silence noise,
The earth would have no sound.
And so I go now dreaming of,
When I'm holding and kissing you.
For only God knows how much it hurts,
When, my love, I'm missing you.

You have flown into my life
But, from where did you come?
I know I could love, I would, my love
With your beautiful wings, you have stunned me
Yet, you fly so high, so far, above my sea
I want to hold you, pull you from the sky
I cry because I can only hold you in my mind
I follow your flight, each and everyday
And I say, Screw it, let come what may
For the chance to hold you, even in the slightest way
Makes me a better person, makes me who I am today
So today, my butterfly, I join you
Together we soar over the troubled ocean blue

His piercing blue eyes
Speak to my soul
Laughter like a child
He makes me feel whole
Tall, slender, and sleek
His beauty is divine
His voice husky and deep
Amazed he is mine

I could stare at you forever
The perfect way that you are
The glow coming within you
Overshines every single star
The way your hair lays across your eyes
So sexily unkempt
I just want to touch your cheek
And graze your silky lips
The intense power from your eyes
Their color so unique and deep
The sly, witty curve of your smile
So happy you're mine to keep

Dead in her eyes, if you were it'd be better,
easier to demise
to detest and demoralize.
Maybe if you tried, you'd hear her face get wetter,
see her voice filled with cries,
her distress, and realize.
Dead in my eyes, as it said in that letter
a fact, no suprise
I plotted demise,
but i'm blessed and downsized.
Dead if you tried, if you wanted to get her
to weep and die
with you and lie,
by your side,
darkly dressed with tears in her eyes.

He loves me for me
He makes me as comfortable as can be
He's always on my mind and in my heart
Whether we are together or whether we are apart

I love being with him in every way
I can just "be" when I'm with him and that's okay
We have fun together no matter what we do
I can be myself with him and he can too

He loves my smile and I'm not sure why
He makes me happy and he makes me cry
He holds and kisses me which always feels good
He showed me to love in ways I never knew I could

There are so many reasons why I love him like I do
Maybe it's his smile, his kisses, or his touch
Whatever the reasons are for it
I can't help but love him so very much

How can you love someone so much,
That the thought of losing him shakes your entire world?
To know someone for so little time,
And, yet, be so deeply infatuated with him...
When he holds me, all I want... is to stop time,
To close my eyes and savor every inch of his embrace.
Tender, warm, wonderful... He is wonderful...
There aren't enough hours in the day to be by his side.
Like an addict, I memorize every move, every emotion,
Every kiss, every touch.
I love the way my head fits perfectly
In the curve of his shoulder and neck,
I love his smell, the sound of my name on his lips,
I love to know that I make him laugh...
And so, it's too soon to know,
Yet, I know myself....
That this is love, that this is it,

That he's the one.

I watch him as he sleeps,
His peaceful sleep.
He takes a breath,
First shallow, then deep.
I breathe with him,gazing upon him
With so much love....
Studying each precious feature,
Memorizing every line,
Shape and curve
Of his being.
A little piece of heaven
Is what I'm actually seeing.
I take focus on his lips,
Laying beautifully,
One on top of the other...
Perfectly shaped,
Soft and warm.
They part ever so slightly
As his sleep deepens,
And I am reminded of his kiss.
Like the sun,
It warms me from head to toe.
Each kiss comes to an end
But never quite lets me go.
Quietly I lay...
Close to him,
Still with him.
Watching him with my eyes,
Loving him with my heart,
Embracing him with my soul.
Every breath draws me closer
In spirit,
Deeper in love.
And so.....
I watch him
As he sleeps,
His peaceful sleep.

Every morning I wake up...to see that you aren't there
I yearn to feel your gentle touch...your fingers in my hair
I ache to hear the comfort in your voice
To see the love glowing in your eyes
I long to have you holding me
In the night while I think of you and cry
The distance is unbearable
The days seem so incredibly long
And I know you want me to keep trying
I know you want me to be strong
Although I act like I don't care
My love for you is unreal
You're in my thoughts every single day
You influence everything I feel
So please don't listen when I say
I don't think or care about you
Only pay attention when I say
Babe, I'm madly in love with you...

gazing across at his silhouette
hair fallen across his face
eyes closed in concentration
was he always this beautiful?

slowly strumming his guitar
his foot taps softly on the ground
lost in his own melody
singing in his lazy, sexy way
did i always love him this much?

deep soulful eyes
long calloused fingers
laughter that brings me bliss
an embrace worth lasting forever
where has he been all this time?

I'd never breathe again.
If you could understand me,
I wouldn't have to play pretend.

If I had a chance to hold you now,
I promise I'd never let you go.
If you could read my trembling lips,
My love for you would show.

If I had never met you,
My life wouldn't be the same.
If my life had a meaning,
I would have to speak your name.

If you could look into my eyes,
You'd see my dying soul.
If you could see my broken heart,
You'd see an empty hole.

If I had the chance to start all over,
I promise to be true.
If I could say just one last thing,
I'd tell you that I love you.
